Glory for Smith and Keane in Squash Championships

Nazhir Smith and Emma Keane were crowned the Under-19 Male and Female Champions at the 2013 Digicel Junior National Championships at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association.

Smith won the boys’ category after a straight sets win over Kion Knights 11-4, 11-6, 11-5.

Knights experienced success earlier though, winning the Under 17 final, defeating Dylan Muldoon in a five-setter 5-11, 11-6, 11-8, 5-11, 11-5.

Keane won the Girls Under 19 Final over Susanna Armano, while Armano overcame Olivia Lindsey in the girls’ Under-17 final in straight sets.
