The Digicel Bermuda National Junior Squash Championships starts tomorrow (Saturday 21st) with over 50 of Bermuda’s top Juniors battling for the titles of National Champion.
Top seeds for the Boys and Girls Under 19 Categories are Nazhir Smith and Emma Keane. Emma is defending champion from last year and is seeded to meet Susanna Armano in the final whilst Nazhir will be looking for his first National title and will have to beat off strong challenges from Beckett Simmons and Kion Knights.
BSRA Assistant Director & National Coach Runa Reta said “Off the back of a successful trip to the Canadian Junior Open last week the Juniors are all flying and ready for some great competition this weekend. I’m really excited to see the kids battle it out in all the different age categories”
Shane McDonnell of Digicel said “We are proud to be supporting this fantastic event again this year a wish all of Bermuda’s junior players the best of luck for the championships”
