Check out these celebrating cyclists.
This week’s blast from the past features two Bermudian riders who are clearly happy about something… but what?
Who are the two men? What race did they just finish?
If you were there that day or remember who these men are, or have had any other memories of cycling races from days past triggered by this shot, drop an email to [email protected] and the best responses will be published next Friday. And just for fun there’s bonus points if you know what street they were on and when this picture was snapped.
Last week we gave you an awesome picture of two players sliding through the mud from a bygone era of Bermuda football.
As luck would have it, one of the players recognised himself in the picture. Quincy Aberdeen simply wrote: “It’s Quincy Aberdeen of Devonshire Colts and a Vasco defender taking a spill at BAA.
“I can’t remember too much more, other than it was a soggy day at BAA...that pic was probably going around 1988-92 im guessing...lol”
The Vasco defender in question would be Wayne DeSilva and the division two game was on February 17, 1991. Just for the record, Colts won 2-0.
