A 19-year-old man was today charged with a sex assault – the fourth man to be charged in the case.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl with three others in Sandys on July 27.

The court heard the girl was in a tent and four young men when the alleged assault took place.

The other three defendants are in custody and are expected to appear at the January arraignments.

After a lengthy bail hearing, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the defendant into custody for two weeks.
