Marilyn Monroe is an ageless classic of beauty.

And she was there in spirit on Sunday at the Sexy Hair Show sponsored by Salon Visage at the Gazebo Room at the Hamilton Fairmont Princess..

Representatives from Sexy Hair — of which they are licensed to use Miss Monroe’s image from her estate —were on hand to display various styles and techniques of their products on models.

Katerina DeCouto , co-owner of Salon Visage, told the Bermuda Sun, they wanted “to bring in something different. The great thing about their products is there is a little bit for everyone — it’s great for kids, for me, for women.

She said Sexy Hair is great for the full range of adding volume to texture.

Ms DeCouto added: “There are a lot of options in the product.”

Salon Visage discovered the product at the Orlando Hair show earlier this year.

“Once we had a few samples of that, we fell in the love with it.”

Co-owner Nicola ‘Freddy’ King said they decided to put on the show “because Sexy Hair is about education — it’s not just about selling the products.

“New products are always coming out, but it’s good to have product knowledge as well. It’s nice to educate our clients and we invited other hairdressers because a lot of other places don’t bring people down and don’t educate them.

“It’s nice to say we sell these products, but the product line cares about its clients.”
