Check out this gem from our archives as two players go slipping and sliding contesting the football.
It’s a great photo from way back — but do you remember anything from the game?
Do you recognise the players? The result? Or anything from that era of domestic football.
If you’ve got memories to share, then we want to hear from you.
Simply email [email protected] with your thoughts and the best ones will be published in the Sun next Friday.
Last time out, we published an old cricket picture, below, and asked for details on who it was and what teams were featured.
Well, it was Clarkie Trott launching a huge six as Bailey’s Bay took on National Sports Club.
Luckily for us, Brian Morris got in touch to flesh out the story.
He wrote: “The batsman is Clarkie Trott and the wicketkeeper is Jason Lewis.
“Not sure of the game but it may be Hamilton Parish v Devonshire Shell Final when they had the Shell Youth Cricket games or Bay v Nationals as those were the only two teams they played for when they were that young.”
