If last week’s Flashback proved tricky for readers to recall, today’s journey back in time should definitely jog a few memories.
It was a time when substitutes were unheard of and balls were so heavy they’d break a few current Premier League stars’ brittle metatarsels.
The picture, far right, shows a genuine Bermuda footballing pioneer but who was he? Which one is he? Who was he playing for? And which season was it?
If you think you know the answers simply email them in to [email protected] along with any other memories you have of this ground-breaking footballer.
The best ones will be published in the Sun next Friday. Last week’s picture (2nd image) was from Bermuda national team’s match against Russian club side Lokomotiv Moscow at the National Stadium on November 25, 1990.
Keep the correspondence coming.
