Star striker Nahki Wells will stay at Bradford City after his record-breaking, match-winning performance today.

This according to the club's assistant manager Steve Parkin.

Parkin was adamant the striker will be going nowhere this transfer window in a post-match press conference.

He said: "People had more than 12 months to come and sign him and they've not bothered. We're not going to sell a week before deadline."

His comments game after Wells broke the club's record goal streak by netting goals in eight consecutive games.

The 23-year-old Bermudian scored twice in his side's 2-0 win over Sheffield United at home this afternoon and wrote a new chapter in the club's history books.

Wells was unavailable to the media after the game, with the club seemingly not keen to have him face more questions about a possible move away from Valley Parade.
