How many GP cars are now on the road?
Government is remaining tight-lipped about how many GP cars are on the road.
Prior to coming to power the One Bermuda Alliance said it would reduce the size of the fleet in a bid to cut Government spending.
And in January, Premier Craig Cannonier detailed how the number of GP cars would be reduced to six, adding that the vehicles would only be available for use when necessary.
But it remains unclear exactly how many GP cars are being used at the moment.
Some political commentators have suggested that at least two more than the six specified vehicles are being used.
But Government will not be drawn on the issue — yet.
Despite repeated requests for specifics from the Bermuda Sun, a Cabinet Office spokesperson would only tell us: “The Cabinet Office declined comment at this time regarding GP vehicles, however advised that a statement on the matter will be provided in due course.”
