Beach tennis tournament back for sixth year
The 6th annual ITF Bermuda Beach Tennis Tournament will take place from August 23rd to 25th.
This year’s event marks the 6th year in a row for Bermuda. The Italians have dominated with 5 out of 5 victories and world champs Alex Mingozzi and Matteo Marighella have been crowned 3 times as champs of the PINK SAND and Alessandro Calbucci and his partner have won TWICE including 2012.
Bermuda Beach Tennis event is ONE WEEK after the BEACH TENNIS USA event in LONG BEACH, New York. Players can make a ten day trip to include NEW YORK and BERMUDA – Two tournaments with the best players in the world. So plan your trip early to get the best airfares and book your hotel room. Who will win in 2013?
Bermuda Beach Tennis will host players from around the world this AUGUST on the beautiful HORSESHOE BAY.
Bermuda Beach Tennis has seen players from Italy, Brazil, Aruba, USA, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Czech Republic, French Reunion Islands, United Kingdom and Bermuda.
This year Bermuda Beach Tennis would like to invite a field of 16 men’s Pro teams and 16 ladies to compete in Bermuda. This tournament is a GRADE ONE event. We would welcome all the players who have visited beautiful Bermuda to spread the word and invite fellow players along with friends and family.
This year the host hotel is Fairmont Southampton.
Prize Money is $ 10,000.00

Play starts on Friday August 23rd and the finals take place on Sunday August 25th
There will be two player parties:
Friday evening – the Big Chill at Seabreeze Lounge at Café Lido Complex, Elbow Beach
Saturday evening – Fairmont Souhampton scuba diving

Players should plan to arrive in Bermuda on Thursday August 22nd and depart Monday August 26th.

Rooms can accommodate up to 4 persons and if you share a room with other tennis players the room rate comes down further.
