Southampton Rangers crushed St George’s in a lop-sided match as they began their league campaign in style.
Half centuries from Alex Dore (93), captain Dion Stovell (79) and Shannon Raynor, who lit up the end of the innings with a hard-hitting 85, were too much for the away side.
Southampton Rangers posted an imposing 369 for five off their allotted overs before skittling St David’s out for an embarrassing 49.
Macai Simmons, the captain, top scored with just 13.
In other Logic Premier Division games, Willow Cuts hammered Bailey’s Bay by nine wickets, while defending champions St David’s overcame Somerset by eight wickets.
This Sunday sees Bay take on Rangers at Sea Breeze, Somerset entertain Willow Cuts and Cleveland take on St David’s at Wellington Oval.
