This is the second part of our two-part series on ‘The Last Four Doctors’. Last week I wrote about Dr Quiet and Dr Diet. This week, I will conclude the article by explaining why we should pay a visit to Dr Movement and Dr Happiness.
Remember, the universal forces of Yin and Yang balance everything out in life. Dr Quiet and Dr Diet are the Yin and Dr Movement and Dr Happiness are the Yang.
Doctor Movement is responsible for pumping the body, keeping it clean, stressing the connective tissues and contracting the muscles to pump blood around.
The more we move, the more the muscles will act as pumps for blood and take the stress away from the heart. When the muscles are active they become hungry for insulin and can prevent the onset of lifestyle diseases like obesity.
Every cell in the body creates an electrical charge similar to an energy turbine. The more we move, the more electricity we have in the body. If we don’t move often and regularly, then we end up feeling tired and fatigued.
When this happens, we have to get our energy from artificial sources like sugar and caffeine. This leads to blood sugar imbalances and syndrome X diseases like high blood pressure and heart disorders.
Twenty minutes of walking a day or several energising exercises will do the job. We don’t need to kill ourselves to be healthy.
Dr Happiness will help us solve mental, emotional and spiritual problems like depression, relationship problems and motivation.
It is fundamental to understand what makes us happy. If you don’t know what makes you happy, then how do you know when happiness arrives?
Most people don’t know what makes them happy. Ask yourself this question... Once you realize the answer then make sure everything you do is leading towards that.
If you don’t know what makes you happy then you haven’t established your core values in life. This is the foundation of
happiness.
Once you think deep down what really makes you happy, then you can start acting accordingly. You will make a conscious effort to get the right quality and quantity of sleep, start eating a clean diet, follow a career path in an occupation that brings joy to your life and live in a place where you really want to live.
No one else is going to do it for you and life is a boomerang. You always get back what you throw out.
