Jasmine Lounge at the Fairmont Southampton Resort has a new menu ready just in time for Spring.
Menu items include a Slider Selection, Texas BBQ Chicken Pizza, Lasagna and Slow Roasted Prime Rib.
We spoke with Jean Michel Buffard, Director of Food and beverage at the Fairmont Southampton, about the new menu.
• Why was it decided to change direction menu-wise?
We decided to refresh the offering at Jasmine Lounge to give a clear concept in line with the other outlets on property.
• What are some of the highlights?
Mini Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork Tacos, Sonoma Panini and New Haven Hand-Tossed Pizza.
• What are the main differences?
It is a menu that is focused on local flavours with ingredients and dishes of the Americas, from Canada to Mexico, with a little bit of Bermuda flair.
• Are there any cocktail changes?
We recently introduced the Fairmont Classic Cocktails and the Fairmont Mixology Experience will be unveiled next month, which is an exciting addition to our Mixology programme.
• What would you say to encourage locals to come up and try the new menu?
The culinary and service teams have worked together to create a relaxed and delicious experience at Jasmine Lounge that has no equal in Bermuda.
