HereO has developed a child GPS watch and family location app, available for pre-order now through Indiegogo.
The hereO GPS watch is the world’s smallest real-time GPS tracking device, designed for children three years and up.
Working in sync with the hereO family location app, the watch functions as a tracker, enabling parents to know their children’s whereabouts directly on their mobile phones.
The battery life isn’t that great and will require recharging every 24 to 72 hours.
Two nice features are the childproof locking mechanism to keep the watch on during the roughest of play and made to be water resistant.
Perhaps the most comforting feature is the panic alert button that can be easily triggered by the child in any situation in which they feel threatened..
More than one adult can be able to keep track of the child so it isn’t just mom or dad’s responsibility.
The hereO GPS watch is now on sale for preorder on Indiegogo, starting at $99 for early bird, with a six-month subscription included and $4.95 per month thereafter.
