By Press release- | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

21 April 2010

The BNAA will be sending a team to the CAC Junior Championships in Morelia, Mexico from July 4th - 6th.   The team leaves tomorrow morning.  We are hoping that we get some of our athletes qualified for the World Junior Championships out of this meet as this will be the last opportunity to meet the standard.

Bermuda currently has Kyle Webb qualified for the World Juniors and we have Kyrah Scraders in the 800m and Bruce DeGrilla in the Long Jump knocking on the door.

We are also looking for some good performances and some medals coming out of this team.  The last CAC Jnr event Kyrah won the gold in the 800m and 1500m and we would like to see that performance repeated.  Kyle Webb is running very good and we would love to see him on the podium in the 100m & 200m.  Of course our 2 high jumpers Sakari Famous and Jahnai Perinchief we hope to be in medal contention.

The team consists of the following athletes and management team who will be traveling with them.
