Bermuda’s Emerging Professionals (BEPRO) will be holding its first summertime Lunch ‘N Learn entitled “Living Green” on Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce from 12pm to 1pm.

All are welcome to come hear special guest speakers Stuart Hayward, Chief Advocacy Officer of BEST (Bermuda Environmental & Sustainability Taskforce), and Gordon Johnson, Executive Director of Greenrock, to uncover why preserving the environment is so important.

BEPRO supports the preservation of the physical, social and economic environment and the work of both organizations within the Bermuda community to date. This session will educate attendees on the decision to live green, provide tips for practicing sustainability at home, work and school, as well as throughout the community, and to create awareness of environmental projects and events that impact both the workplace and the island.

BEPRO Community Director, Damian Pitcher stated, “Let’s get involved by learning more about sustainability and living green, and be encouraged to implement these ideas in order to better our everyday lives. Preservation of green spaces, reducing human footprints, conservation and recycling; all play key roles in respecting the environment around us. Even a small change will make a big difference. Attendees can expect to leave this Lunch N Learn feeling inspired to live green knowing that it is attainable and will benefit the whole of Bermuda.”

A light lunch will be provided and the event is FREE for BEPRO members; $10 for non-members. BEPRO is proud to invite emerging and established professionals from all industries to this event.

To reserve your spot please RSVP today to [email protected], or call 295-8932. See you there!
