Fans’ zone: No sleep in store during stunning double-header
Our fan in Brazil, Paul Fenwick, is keeping us up-to-date with how his holiday of a lifetime is going in Brazil.
Fenwick, who works for Bermuda Police, is in the country for 22 days during the tournament, taking in nine games.
Here’s his latest posts from Brazil... “Chillaxing on the terraza with a bottle of vinho branco... Got a busy two days ahead with Brazil v Mexico — this is going to be awesome — then jumping on a plane to Rio for the Spain v Chile game Wednesday afternoon. #LovingBrasil.”
He added: “Had an amazing time at the Uruguay v Costa Rica game (picture above). We (me and my wife Becky) shared a box suite with three Costa Rican fans and the hospitality was first class.” On Sunday he added: “Was a shame about the England result — relaxing on the beach and then FIFA Fan Zone tonight.”
Jealous, anyone?
