The children of Once Upon a Time Nursery (Chapter 1) this morning presented Liz Boden with a cheque for $1350 to help support the Open Airways charity.

In May, all the children dressed up as ‘Rockin’ Robin & Friends’ to perform songs on the steps of City Hall during World Asthma Day.

They also took part in a sponsored ‘Musical Toddle’ around Par-la-Ville Park and marched around a section of the park five times while playing instruments, encouraging people to take to the outdoors and enjoy breathing the fresh air.

Monies raised will help support those of us on the island that suffer from asthma and breathing difficulties.

A BIG THANK YOU to all those who supported the two-to-five year-olds in their fund-raising efforts.

- Fiona Carruthers, OUAT Director
