Many companies are considering — if they haven’t done so already — allowing their employees to use their technological devices at work.
But what are the risks and rewards associated with this?
A panel discussion will be held on this topic on Thursday, July 24 at 5:30pm at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
The discussion will cover: Issues you need to be thinking about, risks associated with bring your own device (BYOD), and Bermuda specific challenges.
Panel
Kent Stewart, chairman of the regulatory authority of Bermuda, is one of the speakers on the panel. He will be joined by Martin Gutteridge, chief information officer at Argus; Wayne Caines, CEO at Digicel Bermuda; Shan Seanayake, president of ISACA Bermuda; and Michael Oatley, director Government IT office.
Fred Oberholzer, head of IT advisory at KPMG, and Eric MacVicar, chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce Business Technology Division, will moderate the discussion.
