Logic is now offering television channels

Logic started offering TV service this week.

The company is bundling their TV service with all-in-one Internet.

The basic package of LogicTV 4Mb Internet speed and the Standard pack of 100+ channels starts at $179. 

The basic Premium package is $199 and include more than 130 channels.

Packages are also available for 8Mb Internet ($229 and $249 respectively) and 15Mb ($279 and $299).

Shira Litwack, marketing manager for Logic Communications, told the Bermuda Sun “We’ve had quite a few inquiries. People want to see what channels we have and what other options we have. Then they want to go home and talk about it with their family and then calling back to order.”

Ms Litwack said LogicTV has had “a good response” so far and only expects it to grow as the word gets out about the new service.

“We’re giving Bermuda choice and giving them all their services on one bill. 

“This is an upgraded service of DSL called VDSL. Bermuda has been complaining about not getting their full Internet speeds, especially at night, and this service allows them to get the speed they are paying for.”

Another unique feature of LogicTv is the Restart.

Ms Litwack said: “This is really cool. It’s never been seen before in Bermuda. If you come home within three hours of the show being on, you can restart it from the beginning and you don’t need the DVR service to do it.

“The picture quality, with most of the shows being in high definition, is amazing.”

Logic had previously launched TV service in Cayman so they have already ironed out the bugs in the system.

“We launched the same thing here based on the rights to what we can have licence in Bermuda to broadcast.”
