The Department of Education has today announced that registration for the Bermuda Public School System will be held on Wednesday February 5th, Thursday February 6th and Friday February 7th, 2014.
The Department is advising parents that changes have been made to the registration process. The following important changes for the upcoming 2014/2015 school year:
Preschool Registration
Completed preschool application forms will be accepted at the preschool of choice within the designated parish/boundary between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during the registration period.
Primary School Registration
Students currently enrolled in Government preschools will receive pre-printed registration forms which must be updated and returned to each student’s current preschool. Students registering from outside of the Bermuda Public School System must submit the application form to the Department of Education during the registration period between 8:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Middle School Registration
Students currently enrolled in a Government primary school will receive a pre-printed registration form that is to be updated and returned to the student’s current primary school. Student’s registering from outside of the Bermuda Public School System must submit the application form directly to the Department of Education during the registration period between 8:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
Senior School registration
All applications for senior school must be submitted to the Department of Education.
Late Applications
Applications submitted after the registration period on Friday February 7th, 2014 will be deemed late and must be submitted to the Department of Education. Late applications will be considered after March 31st, 2014, after on-time applications have been processed.
Application Forms
Application forms can be obtained from the Department of Education website www.moed.bm or at the Department of Education.
Completed forms and accompanying documentation can be submitted as follows:
1. Delivered to the Department of Education, 14 Waller’s Point Road, St. George’s DD 03;
2. Emailed to [email protected]; or
3. Faxed to 278-3348.
