Klout: Who has social media influence?

Bermuda’s top social media mavens saw a drop in their influence in January from December.

The Bermuda Sun Klout Index saw 15 of the 31 accounts lose influence while just seven saw an increase.

A Klout score is made up of various factors over several social media accounts. 

The biggest gainer for the month of January was Lexy Correia who jumped from 48 to 62. Two other people made January’s Bermuda Sun Klout list that were not on December’s — Toronto FC forward Reggie Lambe and sports personality Bobbi S, aka the sportschickca.

Lambe inched onto the list by moving up one from 49 to 50 while the Sportschickca was not on the last ranking and debuts with a  Klout score of 53.

The biggest drop of the month belonged to yours truly who fell from 58 to 52. Somehow my Facebook account was not registering with Klout so just 0.4 per cent of my score by them was from Facebook. 

Huddersfield Town footballer Nahki Wells, inexplicably also went down by six points.

Most of the drops were just by one or two points. 

Bernews climbed up one spot from fourth to fifth bumping Forbes journalist Clare O’Connor down to fifth. 

While Klout does measure people and business’ influence via social media, those accounts have to be linked with Klout, allowing the company to have access to your social media profiles. 

There are probably several people who would make the list but are not registered with Klout.
