One of Bermuda’s coolest brands will now be centrally located.

If all goes according to plan, BermyBerry will open its second location at the corners of Reid and Burnaby Streets next week.

BermyBerry’s original location in Dockyard will remain in operation.

The all-natural frozen yoghurt eatery will have three staff, and, in a departure from the Dockyard store, cater to early morning commuters by providing coffee and yoghurt parfait. .

BermyBerry director Georgia Marshall told the Bermuda Sun “I always had it in my mind that I would do two locations with the one in Dockyard that would service cruise ship passengers and the Bermudian market in the summer.”

Ms Marshall said in the winter, locals head to town so a second location would meet their needs.

She said the Dockyard location “was well-received by both cruise ship passengers and locals who make the trip to Dockyard as an outing to enjoy some fresh, locally-made yoghurt. It just spurred me on to moving forward with my plans in having a sister location here in the city.

“It completes my vision of this business plan.”

Ms Marshall said what makes BermyBerry standout is it is locally made. “There are not mixes that I toss into a machine. Everything is made fresh. If you’re having mango, you’re getting yoghurt and fresh mango puree. If you order chocolate, you’re getting cocoa. It’s meant to be true to our motto ‘Live Light’.”

She said more people are more attune to eating healthier and BermyBerry classic yoghurt has just 100 calories before fresh fruit is added to it. “That will give you a fantastic treat for under 125 calories.”

The store will be open from 8:15am to 5:30pm from Monday through Saturday.
