Budgies 5 Canaries 1
Budgies came from a goal down to hammer Canaries thanks to two goals from Keishae Robinson in their Bermuda Hockey Federation women’s match.
The Canaries got off to the perfect start when Jenni Crayford opened the scoring in the 17th minute.
However, the lead was cancelled after the break by Robinson.
Budgies’ Jessica Almeida put her team into the lead five minutes later before Robinson extended it with her second.
An own goal and a good effort from Tse Minors wrapped up the win.
Ravens A 0 Budgies 3
Jasmine Patterson scored a field goal in the 11th minute to set Budgies on their way. Kaitlyn Miller added field goals of her own in the 27th and 30th minutes to complete the victory.
Budgies 8-1 Longtails
Tse Minors got the ball rolling with the opening strike after 19 minutes before Akila Beckles, Kaitlyn Miller and Brittany Farias extended the lead to four when the sides went in at the break.
After half-time, Melanie Fullerton made it five from a penalty corner, while Longtails’ Rebecca Gibbons netted a field goal in the 47th minute to giver her side some hope.
However, Minors breached the defence again to slip the ball past the keeper before Fullerton also added her second.
Budgies’ Jessica Almeida scored a field goal with 10 minutes remaining to seal a comprehensive win.
Canaries B 2 Wildcats 1
Wildcats’ junior player Ashley Steede put her side ahead with a field goal in the seventh minute, which deflected off the keepers’ pads.
However, Canaries stormed back with goals from Grace Edy and Joanna Stapff to claim the win.
