The Bank of NT Butterfield & Son Limited announced that during the month of January, 2014, the Bank purchased for Treasury 100,073 Common Shares at an average price of $1.497 per share.

Ward made director

Collins International Limited formally announced the appointment of Lawrence Ward to the board of directors effective January 27, 2014. 

Somers AGM

Somers Limited announced that the Annual General Meeting of the company will be held at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 3:30pm. 

WAH acquisition

Wealth Assurance Holdings, Ltd. reported that the acquisition transaction as described in Sections 2.1 and 2.2 of the Company’s listing document has been completed. 

GSE powers up

Green States Energy, Inc. announced it acquired a second solar PV project in Massachusetts in January. 

The 3.6MW project is located in the Town of Shirley and will provide electricity to the Devens’ Utilities Department, a subsidiary of Mass Development. The project is to be built by S&C Electric Company. The Devens project is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2Q14.

The Devens project will, upon completion, add another $11 million to GSE’s asset base.
