Outplayed YMSC feel the Force

Thirteen was certainly unlucky for YMSC at Warwick Academy in the latest round of games in the Women’s Futsal League.

YMSC went down 13-1 to free-scoring Footy Force Stars, who had Zara Gibbons (5), Cheyra Bell (4), Jahziyah Samuels (3) and Leah Smith on target.

KyAnne Scott-Fishenden  was the sole scorer for YMSC and picked up the MVP award, while five-goal Zarah Gibbons was outstanding.

SCC racked up a perfect 10 as they overcame HPWC 10-2 thanks to goals from  Eva Frazzoni (4), Deshae Darrell (3), Dazhja Greaves (2) and Kimika Jackson.

Asrael Basden and Jayda Hill-Steede were on target for HPWC. Despite the scoreline, HPWC gave SCC a tough time in spells but the latter found their scoring touch after the break.

Karen Dechebert was MVP for HPWC.

In the final game, PHC — already crowned league champions — overcame Dandy Stars 7-3. On target for the winners were Taznae Fubler (3), Raeesah Shakir (2), Jessica Furtado and Zahkia Durham, while Cleshaunae Darrell-Virgil (2) and MVP Ebony Burgess replied for the Stars. n
