Dr Freddie Evans has been confirmed as one of the Technical officials for the Carifta Games in Martinque from April 19.

Bermuda National Athletics Association president Donna Watson, who also announced that she has been selected as Organizational Delegate for the NACAC Under-23 event, said in a press release: “Freddie will lead the team of officials for the throwing events.

“Dr. Evans became a certified official for the Carifta Games, which were held in Bermuda when we certified several of our local officials.

“He was the head Track & Field official at the Natwest Island Games last year and continues to officiate and lead our officials at our local track meets.  Dr. Evans is also our General Secretary on the BNAA Board of Directors.

“We are very excited about this and know that Dr. Evans will represent us very well.”
