Award-winning volunteer says give your time to others

LAUDED: Bermuda CableVision awarded Helene Dill, centre, a prolific volunteer and charity organizer, with its Community Service Award in recognition of 34 years of service in various roles. As part of the Community Service Award, a $1,000 donation from Bermuda CableVision will be given to the charity of Mrs Dill’s choice. Mrs Dill said: “I want to thank Bermuda CableVision for this honour. I never expected anything in return for my service. You don’t do things looking for recognition. When I look back, I volunteered because it was something nice to do for others. I encourage young people to get out there and volunteer.”
