The Tokio Road Race on Sunday was won by Arthur Pitcher after a mad dash to the finish line at John Smith’s Bay.
The Bermuda Bicycle Association saw 133 participants across all categories.
Pitcher pipped Dominique Mayho, Shannon Lawrence and Darren Glasford in the A category, while junior Tyler Smith outfoxed the adults in the B by escaping off the front before the downhill finish and holding off the chasing hordes.
This weekend is the three-day Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix. More in Friday’s paper.
