Flora Duffy will continue her XTERRA triathlon season by competing in the inaugural Asia-Pacific Championship race at Callala Beach in Jervis Bay, New South Africa Wales, Australia on April 26.
Duffy has made an excellent start to the campaign. She won the XTERRA South Africa Championship in February and was imperious in victory at the XTERRA West Championship at Lake Las Vegas, Nevada last weekend.
“I was keen to race Australia before this race (XTERRA West) but after [the Vegas] performance and how I felt, I think I had to book my flight and go to Australia,” said Duffy after a race that saw her post the fastest swim, bike, and run splits.
Bermudian Duffy will be joined in Australia by boyfriend Dan Hugo, who will compete in the Elite Men’s race.
