BELCO warning: Kites & power lines

By Department of Communication and Information- | Comments: 0 | Leave a comment

BELCO wishes to remind the public that kite flying should be done away from power lines in the interest of safety and to avoid creating power outages. If your kite gets tangled in power lines, do not attempt to remove it. Instead, please call 955, so that a BELCO crew can be dispatched to remove it safely. Power outages should also be phoned in to 955. BELCO thanks the community for their cooperation in flying kites safely, and extends best wishes for a happy Easter weekend.
