It wasn’t quite a red carpet walk, but Lisa Baumgartner was an Emmy hit with superstar Matt Damon.
Ms Baumgartner, is CEO and founder of Funkins. The company makes reusable cloth napkins, which can also be used as a placemats.
Funkins was part of the goodie bags for the Emmys. It marks a historical year for the product as it was also showcased at the Oscars and Golden Globes in 2013.
Ms Baumgartner, who developed the product to make her children’s lunches at Saltus more environmentally friendly. Unlike the Oscars and Golden Globes, she was not able to attend the event because of a family emergency, but she told the Bermuda Sun that from the Emmys: “Julie Bowen from Modern Family loves Funkins. So does Matt Damon.”
The product was recently featured in People magazine at a birthday party for one of Melissa Joan Hart’s children.
