Divas’ wrestling show pinned me to the sofa

I have a confession to make: I love reality TV.

Before you get all judgemental, let me say this. I don’t want to have to think when I’m watching TV. I watch TV purely for entertainment. 

And sometimes that entertainment includes wretched behaviour. However, my TV selections are not a reflection of my life.

Now that we’ve gotten that out the way, let’s talk shows. There’s always a new one popping up somewhere.

On Sunday, I fell into a marathon of Total Divas on E. In short it’s about the ‘divas’ of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). These girls are sexy, in great shape and are so divalicious.

The show features the Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki, Nattie, Trinity, Ariane and newbies JoJo and Eva Marie. They are all wrestlers.

It explores their lives inside the ring and out — and includes their love lives.

Three of the girls are in relationships with WWE wrestlers. Nikki’s boyfriend is WWE star John Cena and Brie’s man is fellow WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan. Trinity’s boyfriend is wrestler Jimmy Uso.

The girls compete to be on the main roster of RAW by trying to be the best every week.

Total Divas is highly entertaining and a good way to spend a rainy Sunday. n

I Dream of Nene premiered last night.

The show stars Nene Leakes, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta and her ex-husband Gregg as they prepare to walk down the aisle one more time.

The pair finalized their divorce last year but got back together with Gregg eventually proposing again.

I Dream of Nene will showcase the lead-up to the wedding with Gregg and Nene fighting over pre-nups and in-laws.

Nene previously said in an interview that she wanted this wedding to be over the top and fabulous.

In the actual wedding — which was in June — she reportedly wore three gowns. Bridesmaids included Basketball Wives stars Gloria Govan and Jennifer Williams.

I’m excited about this one. I must admit, I do love Nene and her over the top fabulous personality.

I Dream of Nene airs on Tuesday nights on Bravo.
