The Department of Public Transportation (DPT) advised that the public can anticipate some delays in bus service today due to the fact that some vehicles in the fleet are experiencing mechanical issues as a result of the inclement weather.
The DPT is working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible and apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused to the travelling public.
As an added note, the DPT reminded that the ticket office at the Central Bus Terminal in Hamilton remains closed until further notice due to unpleasant fumes. The ticket booth will re-open once the matter has been rectified.
Bus service will continue to operate out of the Central Terminal as normal, however anyone in the immediate area in need of passes, tickets or tokens should obtain them from the General Post Office or the ferry terminal on Front Street.
