Location: Speciality Inn, South Road, Smith’s
First impressions: It’s like being at home but just a little bit busier. It’s one of the most popular restaurants and that’s why it’s so busy.
Drink: Pure Leaf sweet tea [$2.60]. I wouldn’t really say anything about it. But you don’t come to Speciality Inn for the drink, you come for the food.
Starter: Onion rings [4.95] — Nice and sweet and you don’t have to chew so much. People here know how to cook.
Service: Normal... The waitresses are always making sure the food comes on time, even when they’re busy. The lady at the cash register is always really nice.
Main course: Fettuccini alfredo with ham [$13] — Creamy deliciousness. And the little pieces of ham tasted great.
Portion size: A little bit too big but it is delicious
Dessert: Chocolate milk shake [$6] — I don’t know what other people would say but this chocolate milk shake really tastes like chocolate. It’s not like your normal chocolate syrup or powder. It’s sweet but not too sweet. On a scale of one to 10 I would say 10 — and I’m not lying or anything.
Overall experience: It might be a little busy but it’s worth coming here because whenever you come here, you’ll like the food. They don’t sell alcohol here so it’s a very appropriate place for any age.
