Children across the island kicked off Hallowe’en celebrations this weekend with many events.
On Friday night, Bermuda High School for Girls held their annual Hallowe’en fair.
Because of the rain, the fair was inside of the school’s gymnasium. Children dressed in a variety of cute, scary and creative costumes littered the gym.
A few parents joined with hats and masks.
Games were included in the entrance. They were many game to entertain the children including spooky golf putting, bean bag toss, spider toss, basketball and much more.
There was also a tattoo and nail station, a scary haunted house and a fortune telling booth.
On Saturday, the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute was turned in an extreme Hallowe’en party.
Entrance was $5 for non-members and free for members. Games were 50 cents a ticket and included bean bag toss, witch hat toss, coin toss, grab a pumpkin, pint eh nose on the pumpkin and much more.
There was also a scavenger hunt, a haunted tunnel, a Hallowe’en movie inside the auditorium, face painting, spooky crafts and a costume parade.
Two performances of “Thriller” by dancers from In Motion took place in the lobby.
Candy and Hallowe’en trinkets were given as prizes at all the games.
There was also a bake sale with a variety of spooky treats including cupcakes, brownies, fudge and more.
