Has there been a more famous wicket taken in Bermuda?
That’s up for debate but our Flashback picture this week is definitely a highlight from the island’s cricket archives.
Were you there? What game was it? How did the wicket come about? Do you know which teams were playing?
If you know any answers to the above and have some memories of what was going on, we want to hear from you.
So, just for fun, Simply e-mail [email protected] with your thoughts and the best ones will be published in the Sun next Friday.
Last week’s Flashback picture showed a particularly hectic start line at a local running race.
For a recap, head to bermudasun.bm.
It was of a Sun Life 10k and Tracey Wright came away with the victory in 33 minutes 13 seconds, beating out second placed Kevin Tucker, who finished 40 seconds behind.
Around 125 runners took part and the first female finisher was Jan Benbow in 37:22.
Familiar faces
A few e-mailers recognised some familiar faces on the start line.
Adrian Beasley wrote: “I wasn’t there (I don’t think) but Harry Patchett and Anna Eatherly are on the starting line.”
While Joanne Harvey was spot on when she said: “The race is the SunLife 10k — unsure of the race date though.
“I recognize several of the front row runners — Jeremy Ball, Brett Forgesson, Anna Eatherley, Ronue Cann, Jane Christie, Harry Patchett.”
The exact date has outfoxed our archive department as well but it’s great that so many faces were recognised.
Thanks also to John Barnett for his contribution.
Keep the correspondence coming in. n
