Fresh from performing in the successful Bermuda International Church Piano/Jazz Festival at St. Paul AME, Giant Steps will give a command performance on Saturday at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall.

The event is organized by Dale Butler and Darlene Hartley.
Hartley said that this event “would set the standard for entertainment for the band”. She went on to say the group had had a very successful year having established numerous “Festivals” and also completing six weeks on the road with Jacob’s Ladder and the Pan Jazz Festival, something never done before on a Sunday”.
Hartley also said that Mary Ancheta’s inclusion in the second last event on their calendar would be a highlight and test for the band who have worked very hard all year.
The Giant Steps Band will conclude its year of performance on Sunday, November 3 at the Leopards Club at 6pm with a special “jam session” that allows musicians who play free entry. Tickets for that event can be collected at the door for $20. There will be a cash bar and food on sale.
