There is no shortage of Hallowe’en events this year with parties from St George’s all the way to Dockyard.

From adult-only bashes, to a family-friendly zombie walk, there is something for everyone. 


BHS Hallowe’en Fair 

BHS will host its annual Hallowe’en Fair on Friday on the BHS field from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

There will be a haunted house, games, prizes, a costume parade and more.

Tickets are $15 and include a hot dog or chili, a drink and dessert. They are available for purchase online at www.bhs.bm or by calling 278-3004.

Mangrove Hallows 

The second annual Mangrove Hallows will be held on Saturday at Mangrove Bay in Somerset from 12pm to 4pm.

There will be prizes for the best costumes, music, food, goblins and ghouls, a haunted house, pumpkin patch, pumpkin pie eating competition and more.

A zombie walk will also be held starting at 11am from Grey’s Bridge to Mangrove Bay.

Parking will be at Watford Bridge, the field behind HSBC Mangrove Bay, Mangrove Bay Post Office and the Old Bus Terminal off of Beacon Hill.

Pick Your Own Pumpkins 

The 4th annual Pick Your Own Pumpkins will be at Astwood Park on Saturday from 9am to 2pm.

There will be face painting, hay-rides, caramel apples, cider and lots of fun.  Children who wear costumes will be given a treat.  

There is no admission fee and the price of pumpkins ranges between $13 and $24, depending on the size.

Hallowe’en at BUEI 

Hallowe’en fun for the family will be held at BUEI’s annual Underwater Underworld event on Saturday from 1pm to 4pm.

The haunted underworld includes a costume contest, face painting, spooky crafts, a scavenger hunt,bake sale, games, giveaways and more.

In Motion dancers will be on hand to perform the dance to Thriller.

The event is free for members and children under four. Non-members will pay $5.

Hallowe’en Dive

The Blue Water Divers and Watersports will host the annual Halloween Dive on Saturday at 10 until Sunday at 2pm.

Divers are asked to bring their diving equipment, carving tools, pumpkins and costumes to celebrate Hallowe’en and the end of summer.

There will also be an underwater pumpkin carving and best costume competition.

Scary Party

Scary Party, a pre-Hallowe’en bash will be held as Cosmopolitan Nightclub on Saturday night.

DJs for the evening include DJ Choice, Rusty G, D’General and YGS playing Top 40, dancehall, reggae, soca, hip hop and mash-ups.

Doors open at 9pm and there will be an open bar for the ladies until 10pm. Drinks are $5.50 until 11pm and there will be $5 scary shooters until 1am.

Tickets are $25 and are available at Kit and Caboodle, Cosmopolitan and event DJs.

Nightmare on Queen Street

Nightmare on Queen Street will be held from 8pm to 2am on Friday, November 1.

Hosted by the ‘infamous’ Town Crier, the line up features Lemon Tree’s resident DJ Unkle, the free-up flowing vibes of the Crown & Anchor band, and The Big Chill, unleashing a new house party mix later in the evening.

Organizer Belcario Thomas said: “I’m super excited for everyone to be able to enjoy this free wonderland-Hallowe’en experience with open-minded, free spirits converging on this gorgeous venue.”

Entrance for this event is free and costumes are mandatory.

Witches, Pimps and Tramps

Wild Apache Promotions is hosting the Witches, Pimps and Tramps Hallowe’en Party on November 1 at Carriage House.

Music will be provided by Lenky Global, DJ Sheep, and Flava from Natural Movement Radio 2.0 with the best of soca, reggae, dancehall, hip hop and throwback jams.

Organizer Rowan Ramotar said: “We encourage everyone to come prepare to dance all night. 

This promises to be one freaking scary party with a twist.”

Tickets are $15 and are on sale at Kit n Caboodle, Jazzy Boutique, and The Cave Men’s store in St Georges.

T’was the Night After Hallowe’en

T’was the Night After Hallowe’en will be held on November 1 at Margarita Grill.

It is a costume and ticket-only event featuring D’General and DJ Haily of Hypa-Flex Movement on the ones and twos.

Margarita Grill will betransformed into a haunted house of ‘WKD-ly’ delicious horrors and sexy delights.

Yellowe’en

Yelloween will be held on the UberVida from 12am to 3am on November 1.

Costumes are mandatory and tickets are $20. The event is sponsored by Veuve Clicquot and Patron XO Café.

There will be bottle and shots specials all night.

Guy Fawkes Vs Burning Man

Guy Fawkes vs Burning Man will be held on Saturday, November 2 at Snorkel Park.

This party is for those who love electronic dance music, old and new.

DJ Bitsy and DJ Fozzy are on team old school while Rusty G and Supa J are on team new school.

All four DJs will be dropping the best in electronic dance music including house, electro, dubstep, drum and bass, trap, moombahton and more.

There will be glow sticks, lazar beams and a huge bonfire.

Door open at 8pm and admission is $10 before midnight and $15 after.

Dress code is burning man style.”


East End Kids! Here’s a Fun Halloween Community Event

Join us at Ordnance Island between 4 and 7 pm on October 30th, 2013.  There will be lots of candy, healthy goods and fun taking place to help you celebrate Halloween.

This is a community event put on by your East End Representatives.

All Kids will be Welcome! Costumes are encouraged, but are not required.

Your local MPs will be dressed up for the event, handing out an assortment of FREE Goodies & Treats!
