Digicel will be holding a special breakfast seminar next week.

St George’s director

The St. George’s Foundation has named Dr Charlotte Andrews as its new executive director. Dr Andrews brings fifteen years experience in heritage and museum work to the charity dedicated to preserving and promoting Bermuda’s World Heritage Site.

Dr Andrews said in a press release: “I am honoured and excited to lead The St. George’s Foundation, which plays an instrumental role in managing our World Heritage Site as a community resource and cultural tourism product. I look forward to working with TSGF’s dedicated board, staff and volunteers and collaborating with heritage sector partners in the east end and across the Island. Capturing community knowledge, ideas and energy will also be key to determining and achieving our heritage management goals.”

Rick Spurling, TSGF chairman, sadi:  “We are thrilled to have Dr. Andrews lead The St. George’s Foundation and our next phase of heritage work for the Town of St. George.

“Charlotte brings professional heritage expertise and an expansive understanding of how our unique community uses the past. Her extensive experience with collections, exhibits, archaeology, historic sites, community outreach and other heritage matters is most relevant to our mission. Her energy and enthusiasm will also help propel both the World Heritage Site management plan and TSGF’s fundraising forward.” 

Greenlight

A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and issuer credit rating of “a” of Greenlight Reinsurance, Ltd. (Greenlight Re). 

A.M. Best also has affirmed the FSR of A- (Excellent) and ICR of “a-” of Greenlight Re’s subsidiary, Greenlight Reinsurance Ireland, Ltd. (Ireland).

Concurrently, A.M. Best has affirmed the ICR of “bbb” of Greenlight Re’s holding company, Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. (Greenlight Capital Re). The ICR of Greenlight Capital Re is strictly based on the holding company’s methodology since the company does not carry debt. The outlook for all ratings is stable. 

Rembrandt

A.M. Best affirmed the financial strength rating of A and issuer credit rating of “a” of Rembrandt Insurance Co. Ltd. (Rembrandt) (Bermuda). The outlook for both ratings remains stable.

The ratings of Rembrandt reflect its excellent risk-adjusted capitalisation and its ability to continuously generate strong financial results. The ratings also consider Rembrandt’s stable business profile.
