What's 'Appening: Friskies develops an app for your cat

Turns out you don’t need thumbs to enjoy iPad apps.

My cat has fallen in love with the Friskies Cat Fishing app. There’s nothing to it, coloured fish swim around on the screen, and when the cat touches it the fish disappears and ripples appear. The fish get faster with each level.

But it must be the cat version of Candy Crush because I had to wrestle my iPad away from my cat. She kept trying to look under the iPad to figure out where the fish were going.

One warning, though, it’s difficult to explain to an animal that you can’t use claws on a touch screen.
