Alex Madeiros is the Director of Golf at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton. The same golf course that hosts the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
This week, Alex is probably the busiest man in Bermuda, running back and forth to make sure everything is perfect during the tournament.

Dealing with tourists, the players, invited guests, local dignitaries, overseas film crews and spectators has got to be a huge ordeal.

He has been a golf  pro in Bermuda since 1991, starting at the St George’s Club. He has also worked at Belmont Golf Club, Ocean View Golf Club and Riddell’s Bay Golf Club with a total of 20 plus years in the industry.

Alex works with the PGA, tourism board and resorts locally and internationally to promote golfing in Bermuda. He also works with Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line with special golf promotions.

Aside from golf, he is a family man and is married to Rebecca and has four children — Brittany, Jacob, Toby and Isaac.
