Troncossi Public Relations (Troncossi), one of Bermuda’s leading public relations and social media consultancies, today announces the appointment of Natasha Beynon as a public relation consultant.

In her new role, she will be responsible for advising clients on public relations strategy, generating media exposure, managing potential communications crises, monitoring the media and social networking sites, and leveraging social media to influence target audiences. She also will be developing various communications materials such as press releases, newsletters, speeches and positioning statements.

Prior to moving to Bermuda, Ms. Beynon worked in Toronto as a Consultant for Hill + Knowlton Strategies, one the world’s top international public relations agencies. Her client portfolio included Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Corby Distillery, a leading distributor of premium drinks including Absolut, Malibu and Havana Club, Sharp Electronics and HP. Prior to that she worked at High Road Communications in Toronto on files that included Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Microsoft.

In addition to more than six years of experience in the public relations industry, Ms. Beynon has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Acadia Universty in Nova Scotia and is a graduate of Humber’s Public Relations programme in Toronto.

“I am delighted to welcome Natasha on board,” said Elizabeth Tee, managing director at Troncossi Public Relations. “Our consultancy’s continued growth reflects the rising awareness in Bermuda about the importance and cost-effectiveness of public relations and social media as integral elements of communications programmes. Natasha brings to Troncossi extensive communications knowledge and experience, which will prove invaluable to the wide variety of clients we serve in developing and positioning their brands.”
