Kane LPI Solutions (Kane LPI) has today announced the appointment of Matthew Charleson as Head of LPI Fund Administration Services, with immediate effect.

Based in the firm’s Bermuda head office, Mr. Charleson will focus on product development and business growth in the fund administration arena. Working closely with the Kane LPI senior leadership team, he will also be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the life, pension and investment department in Bermuda.

Most recently, Mr. Charleson was Senior Manager, at Prime Management Limited in Bermuda, which provides administration services to offshore hedge funds and mutual funds. Prior to that, he was Audit Manager for Ernst & Young – Asset Management, also in Bermuda, having moved from the firm’s London office to take up the position in October 2008. Previous roles have included: Audit Senior at haysmacintyre, and Audit and Accounts Senior at Fish Partnership LLP. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Uprichard said: “The fund administration sector is a very competitive one, in which having the highest calibre of team members is critical to maintaining and strengthening your market position. The appointment of Matthew is therefore a key hire for us. His extensive management expertise and excellent reputation for service delivery will ensure he plays a leading role in our efforts to further enhance our capabilities and expand our client base.”

Mr Charleson added: “Kane LPI is a very dynamic and innovative organisation. In recent years, the team have clearly demonstrated their ability to design and deliver bespoke administrative solutions, as well as offering flexible service models that adapt to the changing demands of clients and their markets.
