Drivers looking to avoid running afoul of the law might want to try BlueAnt S4.
The device is a voice-controlled car speakerphone that is truly hands-free.
Even though the device comes with a 31-page instruction booklet and a two-page quick-start booklet, you probably won’t need them.
Once the device is fully charged and you turn it on you will receive voice step-by-step instructions from the S4 to connect it to your phone.
Once it is connected it will match up the contacts from your phone contact list.
A word of warning, your phone must be able to support Bluetooth technology but it should work with iPhones 3GS and later, most BlackBerrys and most Androids running 2.2 and higher.
Once you’ve connected it to your phone, you can clip the S4 to your visor or anywhere else in your vehicle and you’ll never need to touch your phone to answer it while in your vehicle.
I found it loud enough to hear and it was able to pick up my voice easily enough.
When someone calls you it will announce their name (if they are in your contact list) and you can decide to answer the call or not by saying ‘ignore’ or ‘answer’.
You can also call others by saying their name clearly.
For both Blackberrys and Android-based phones, it can read your text messages — all hands-free. You’ll spend more time fiddling with the radio or air conditioner than you will with your phone once you’re up and running.
