The Bermuda National Library was presented with a copy of the autobiography Tessi’s Highway by newly published author, Dr. Clarence (Tessi) Terceira.
Dr. Terceira today presented the book to the Minister of Education, Senator the Hon. Nalton Brangman JP and Julie Bean, Public Services Librarian.
Dr. Terceira presented a signed copy and included a personal message. He wrote, “In presenting my memoirs to the Bermuda National Library, there is the hope that all who read it in the future years will get a glimpse of the cultural life and times of the observation and participation of one person in Bermuda during the years of 1927 and 2014. It is fitting that as a former Minister of Education, I am today accompanied by my long-time friend and present Minister of Education, Senator the Hon. Nalton Brangman.”
In response, Minister Brangman stated, “Tessi Terceira is considered one of our quintessential elder statesmen. He has served the people of Bermuda with great poise and integrity, and we are delighted to receive this book, which is a wonderful chronicle of his life. The cultural and historical importance of his story is one that we are pleased to welcome and embrace at the Bermuda National Library.”
