Boat parade party and Philippines benefit concert at new pier complex

Two exciting events are taking place at the Pier 6 Waterfront Complex on December 7 — the Christmas Boat Parade party and a concert in aid of those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Heather Nova is among the artists featured at the concert as well as Sonic Sanctuary, Devils Isle Audio, Bones the Bermuda Blues Band and the Filipino Association Dancers.

There will be a special Santa Village, music, food stations, face painting and fun for the kids during the parade which runs from 6pm and runs until 9pm.

Immediately after the Boat Parade there will be the benefit concert featuring a whole host of local acts. The fundraiser takes place from 10pm to 2am and 100 per cent of the proceeds will go twards the Philippines Relief Fund.
