What could be more festive than a glass of bubbly, a few seasonal nibbles, nativity scenes and a little Christmas shopping?

The Centre for Arts at Dockyard is launching its Christmas Show this Sunday and invites the public to attend.

The members’ show features the work of some of Bermuda’s leading artists.

All the works are small pieces, no bigger than 8 1/2 x 11”, meaning they are easy to travel with and are priced affordably.

The Ggallery’s Heidi Cowen told the Sun: “By popular demand, we have the return of our cedar trees. This year they are five feet high, which means that they will make excellent Christmas trees for those that would like a little bit of true Bermuda spirit in their home and then plant new life into their
garden.

“We also have fabulous prizes to be won in our Reindeer Raffle. Everyone is guaranteed to be a winner.”

On the same night, artist is Ronnie Chameau will be in the side gallery with her opening of Au Natural featuring palm leaf and driftwood nativity scenes, palmetto palm baskets, bay grape table centre pieces, palmetto palm angels , banana bark scenes, and natural Christmas wreaths. n

The shows’ opening reception takes place this Sunday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Both shows remain open until January 10.
