Yo Cherry celebrated its grand opening yesterday complete with a ribbon cutting by Premier Craig Cannonier.

The self-serve frozen yogurt shop opened at the end of September and is owned by Carlos and Regina Francis.

The business is located at 8 Bermudiana Road next to Nona’s Kitchen.

Some of the flavours include 'honey vanilla Greek', 'ooey gooey Cinnabon', 'dreamy dark chocolate', peanut butter, and strawberry.

The grand opening was held at 1pm yesterday with free baked goods handed out to customers.

Speaking to the Bermuda Sun after the ribbon cutting, Mr. Francis said: “It’s awesome, just the pinnacle of our accomplishment so far.

“I couldn’t ask for a better reception by the Premier and the Bermudian public and all my supporters and family.

“It’s been an awesome journey and I just feel thankful that I made the move when I did.

“I’m pretty sure it’s going to pay dividends.”

Yo Cherry is open daily.
