Tricray Astwood has, for the past year and a half, been touring the US with his album “Let Judah Reign” and has been the Worship Pastor of FaithWorld, Port St Lucie.

He is back home in Bermuda for a little while and during his stay he will be taking part in the Hott 1075 Bermy Hits Concert on Saturday, November 16 at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium. It is a concert highlighting Bermudian artists who have had hits on local radio.

The following week, on November 23, he will be hosting his own full-length concert with his band and singers called Worshippers Unite — Level 2. Held at the Heritage Worship Center at 7:30pm.

Your earliest memory?

Probably lame, but I remember nap time in nursery/pre-school. Everyone always went to sleep and I never did.

What were you like in school?

I was the nice guy, always got good grades, and generally cool with everyone.

When did you last laugh out loud?

When my I spilled my entire cup of coffee, that took me 10 minutes to make, all over the counter. Before taking a sip!

Who is your hero/heroine?

As a Christian I'd have to say Jesus... I really don't know where or who I'd be without Him.

Human trait you value most in others?

The best trait a human could have is integrity.

If you were given a million dollars tomorrow what would you do with it?

I'd buy a car, pay for my next album and tour, spend $5k on a new wardrobe and invest and save the rest.

Do you believe in fate?

Nope! I believe in choice and the sowing and reaping principle.

Your greatest fear?

Not achieving my optimal potential.

Most embarrassing moment?

I was singing in front of 2,500 people... with my fly down...

Your ultimate ambition?

To be one of the leading Praise and Worshippers of our generation.

Honest, ambitious and kind.

Which human trait do you dislike the most?

Arrogance.

Worst job you’ve ever done?

Customer Service in a shipping and freight company.

Not getting my teacher’s certification. I don't need it now, but it would have come handy back then.

The Anthem by Planetshakers

What animal would you be and why?

An eagle, they can fly high, and see far, and very few things can harm them.

If you had a time machine, where would you go?

I'd probably go to the bible era. I'm so interested to see what life was really like back then

With my Rotary Exchange Leader leaving me behind on a field trip in Argentina. I wasn't a happy camper, and I definitely had to repent after our conversation!

‘Do you’. ‘Swim against the current’.

If you weren’t an artist, what would you be?

The Premier of Bermuda. I was a debater in my high school years and I have a passion for leadership. I love to see success so I would definitely ensure the success of our island and without personal gain... And it would be cool to say that you run a country.
